Periodontal Regeneration
Periodontitis results in destruction of the supporting tissues around your teeth, the cementum, periodontal ligament and bone. Even after periodontal treatment, this damage may persist and whilst you may not notice this damage from the surface, it is imperative that this damage is addressed appropriately by your periodontist.
Our periodontists can perform guided tissue regeneration treatment on patients to regenerate lost bone and tissue. Guided tissue regeneration treatments work to reverse the damage caused by periodontitis as they stimulate the growth of new periodontal tissue, the cementum, periodontal ligament and bone, providing a supportive structure for dental roots.
Based on your comprehensive examination, our periodontists will assess if this is a treatment option needed in your treatment plan.
